Ten Years of ACT

This summer marked the 10th anniversary of Anna’s death, and what would have been her 31st birthday. It also marked the 10th anniversary of the Anna Crossman Trust for Kids in Kerala. It is a measure of the affection Anna inspired that what started as a one-off collection at her funeral, has actually been maintained for a decade by her friends and extended family.

Supported by marathon runs, amazing bike rides, mountain climbs and a decade of extraordinary generosity, ACT has grown into a substantial, ongoing charity effort that has built houses, improved schools and provided much needed scholarships at the Auxilium school, where Anna once taught.

Last month, our friend Mr Jutten, who had driven Anna in his Tuk Tuk, delivered this year’s donation to Sister Shiji at Auxilium. This will ensure another year’s education for more than twenty children. Thanks to your fantastic support, ACT has been able to make a real difference for kids in Kerala, and everyone there reminds us how incredibly grateful they are to all our donors.

Anna is remembered in India as certainly as she is in our hearts.
