Autumn Concert, London, Nov 2013

Anna CrossmanMusic was at the core of Anna’s world. By the age of 16, she was a Grade 8 flautist and an accomplished singer. At Godolphin & Latymer School she was awarded a sixth-form music scholarship, and in her final year sang the lead role in the school musical – Audrey in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. She was also known by her friends as a ‘human iPod’ – her love and knowledge of music was not confined to the classical repertoire…

The Autumn Concert 2013 at Godolphin & Latymer was dedicated to her memory.

Philip Culling gave a moving speech about Anna’s musical contribution to the school, and the collection raised £2000 from generous staff, parents and students. Our thanks to them all, and especially to Philip Culling, Ruth Mercer, Mark Laflin and Julia Hodgkins for this wonderful gesture.
