Severe floods swamped the state of Kerala during the 2018 monsoon, causing widespread damage and taking what little they possessed from already impoverished inhabitants.
Families of the children supported by ACT were among those to suffer, and we decided to make a contribution to help them. We gave a grant of £1,000, distributed by the nuns at Auxilium School, that enabled several families with young children to reclaim their flood-damaged homes.
